Nicholson Marine Services, Inc. is a corporation providing repair and maintenance services to recreational boats in Rhode Island.  Currently, services include the repair and installation of engines, generators, electrical, electronics and plumbing systems, as well as detailing and some exterior vessel maintenance.

Nicholson Marine Services, Inc. (NMS) was established in March 2004 by husband-wife owners, Drew and Lauren Nicholson. Its mission is to provide educated, skilled marine services and repair, at competitive rates, with superior customer service.   NMS hopes to achieve this through ongoing education and a focus on providing a higher caliber of service. 

Drew Nicholson, Owner and Chief Technician, has over 15 years experience in the boating industry and numerous certifications.  Prior to owning his own marine service business, Drew was a marine technician for several years each at Greenwich Bay Marina, Brewer Cove Haven Marina, and Dedham Sportsmen's Center (a SeaRay dealer); and earlier, was a sailing instructor and was responsible for fleet maintenance at the Community Sailing Club on Lake Quinsigamond, Worcester.  Drew is a graduate of the New England Institute of Technology's Marine Technology program, an ABYC Certified Marine Electrician, a Certified Kohler Technician and Sealand "Supertech."  He has previously been certified in Mercruiser, Westerbeke, Yanmar, and Volvo Penta.  Drew is currently studying to obtain his US Coast Guard Captain's license.

Lauren Nicholson, Owner and Business Manager, oversees the administrative, bookkeeping, and customer service functions at Nicholson Marine Services.  She formerly helmed the marketing and public relations department at the Providence Warwick Convention and Visitors Bureau, and had worked at a public relations firm and the Governor's Press Office in Boston, MA after obtaining a degree in Communications at Suffolk University.  Lauren is currently studying Business Management at Bryant University.

Nicholson Marine Services currently employs part-time/seasonal staff members and is actively recruiting for quality, educated service personnel.  Nicholson Marine Services is located in Wharf Marina, Warwick.
